If you have received a visa application refusal since your last entry to Australia and do not currently hold a valid substantive visa, you are ineligible to apply for a student visa. Student visas are frequently refused for several reasons.

Common issues include failing to demonstrate a genuine intent to study in Australia, a lack of ties to the applicant’s home country, and inadequate financial support requirements.

Other contributing factors may include failure to meet academic requirements or inconsistencies in the application or supporting documents, which can result in a refusal.
