MLTSSL List Overview
The Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) comprises 212 ANZSCO occupations, as established by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). The allocation of these occupations is based on labour market advice from the Department of Jobs and Small Business. The skilled occupations lists are designed to ensure that the entry of skilled foreign workers into Australia is carefully calibrated to align with the country’s needs.
The ANZSCO occupations on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) are applicable to the following visas:
- Subclass 189 (Skilled Independent) Visa
- Subclass 190 Skill Nomination Visa
- Subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate) Visa, Graduate Work Stream
- Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa
