Short-term Skilled Occupation List Overview

The Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) is a list of occupations that are in demand in Australia for short-term skilled migration. The STSOL contains 215 ANZSCO occupations determined by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).

The occupation assignment is based on labour market advice provided by the Department of Jobs and Small Business. The skilled occupations list ensures that the entry of skilled foreign workers to Australia is carefully calibrated to Australia’s needs.
