Australian Universities have a range of courses from a Bachelor of Education (Primary) to a Master of Teaching (Secondary), and you can choose which major you want either an early childhood or primary school teacher or a secondary school teacher. There are two common pathways to become a teacher in Australia:
Pathway 1: to obtain a bachelor’s degree in education, a four-year course. This pathway normally applies to a person who had not yet have any degree.
Pathway 2: If you already have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, like science or music, then you need to enroll in one year of Graduate Diploma Teaching course, or two years of Master of Teaching course.
Once you have completed your teaching qualification, you’ll need to apply for teacher registration or accreditation in your state, and you continue to maintain your teaching registration current such as completing a require amount of continue professional development each year.

1-Working with Children and Police check
International student looking to study a Bachelor of Education must complete a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check. 2-Complete the CASPer Test

If you want to become a primary school teacher
Primary school teachers in Australia will be specialised in the education, development, teach young children from Prep to Year 6, with children aged between 5–12 years of age. To be qualified to undertake teaching positions in primary schools you are required to complete a four-year teaching degree course (Pathway 1) such as:
A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) at La Trobe University
A Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Deakin University
Or if you already have a bachelor’s degree which not relating to teaching degree, then you need to enrol in one year of Graduate Diploma Teaching course, or two years of Master of Teaching course Pathway 2.

If you want to become a High School Teacher
High school teachers in Australia will be specialised in the education, development, and teaching students in Years 7 to 12, with children aged between 12 and 18. Regardless which state or territory you plan to teach in Australia, you will need to complete an undergraduate degree, and an accredited teaching degree, such as a Master of Teaching (Secondary).
It’s important to understand that a Master of Teaching prepares you to teach in the same discipline of your undergraduate degree. 5-Register as a teacher
