The main purpose of a skills assessment for the Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa, specifically under the Post-Vocational Education Work stream, is to confirm that your Australian qualifications correspond with an occupation listed on the Medium to Long Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).

To be eligible for a provisional skills assessment, applicants must hold qualifications from a registered training organization (RTO). This study must have been conducted in Australia, and the RTO must be accredited by the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to deliver the training.
