Qualification Overview

This certificate reflects the role of cooks, who produce food and menu items using a wide range of well-developed cooking abilities and excellent knowledge of kitchen operations. They operate with some independence and under limited supervision, using judgement and judgement to guide work activities.

Completing this qualification helps you get a job as a trade cook. This degree opens up opportunities to work as a cook in places like restaurants, hotels, clubs, bars, cafes, and coffee shops.

Migration Skill Assessment

An applicant who is applying for the ANZSCO Code: 351411, Occupation Cook must attend the technical interview, which requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge and to have completed 25 units of competency, including 19 core and 6 elective units as described below.

If you successfully complete the technical interview, you will receive the Australian SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, a Statement of Results, and a migration outcome letter if the assessment is to support your visa application.
